St. Mary’s Queen of Peace Cemetery, like St. Mary’s County in which it is located, is devoted to the Blessed Mother of Jesus. These historic sacred grounds were consecrated in 1975 to continue serving the needs of the community in Southern Maryland where the Catholic faith arrived in America.
The Choice Is Yours
The sacred ground of St. Mary’s Queen of Peace Cemetery features a shrine of the Blessed Mother in the midst of burial sites designed for bronze on granite and flush granite markers. Traditional upright memorial sections are available in beautifully landscaped settings. The devoted staff of Catholic cemeteries carefully maintains all burial sites and memorials providing a peaceful place of prayer and consolation for families. An office was recently completed on the grounds in order to serve the needs of families for this cemetery and the 26 Catholic parish cemeteries.
