Genealogy/Research Request Form

The Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Washington welcomes your search for burial information at one of our local Catholic cemeteries. All requests must be submitted either in written form, or using the electronic form below. In most cases, our office can provide you with the name of the deceased, the location of the gravesite and whether or not the site has been memorialized. If you’d like to search further, we welcome your visit to the cemetery grounds to personally document the information inscribed on granite or bronze memorials.

Kindly fill out all the information in the request form below and submit it to the cemetery office. We ask that your request be as specific as possible. A staff member will contact you to let you know when you can expect to receive the information and whether a research fee ($50 an hour) is necessary for a more in-depth search.

Since our primary focus is the daily care of families who come to bury their loved ones at the cemetery, we appreciate your kindness and patience as we work to fulfill your inquiry in a timely manner. Thank you for your request!
