Tradition
holds that after the Ascension of Jesus, the Blessed Mother
walked along
the Via Dolorosa (the Way of Sorrow) in Jerusalem,
repeating the steps of her Son as he carried his cross
to Calvary.
At certain spots she would kneel and pray.
In this way, she became the first pilgrim to retrace the
Way of the Cross.
Come continue this tradition as we walk together—praying
for our departed loved ones—at one of the following
Catholic cemeteries where the Good Friday Stations will
be prayed:
