This guide is intended to assist you in making decisions in connection with the purchases of burial goods and services made from a cemetery, funeral home or monument dealer and to advise you of your rights and protections under Maryland law. It applies to sales contacts made at the time of need (“at need”) or when you are deciding whether to plan arrangements for yourself (“pre-need”).
